You manage calendars, deadlines, teams, and stakeholders. But when was the last time you checked in on yourself with the same rigor you apply to everything else? The Reset Score is a 21-question diagnostic that measures where you stand across seven dimensions of personal wellbeing, scored on a 42-point scale. It takes about three minutes, and it tells you something no productivity app or wellness subscription can: where the stress is actually living.

What the Reset Score measures

The diagnostic maps your current state across the seven levels of the Music & Meditation framework. Each level corresponds to a core dimension of how you function as a person (not an employee, not a title, a person):

  • Level 1, Earth: Physicality and Groundedness. Are you present in your body? Do you feel anchored, or are you floating through your days on autopilot?
  • Level 2, Water: Emotional Processing. Are you feeling your feelings, or storing them? Are you numb to things that used to move you?
  • Level 3, Fire: Personal Power. Do you trust your own judgment? Are you leading from confidence or performing from obligation?
  • Level 4, Air: Love and Connection. Are your relationships nourishing you or draining you? Is your heart open or guarded?
  • Level 5, Sound: Authentic Communication. Are you saying what you actually think? Or have you been editing yourself so long you’ve forgotten what your real voice sounds like?
  • Level 6, Light: Clarity and Perception. Can you see your situation clearly, or is everything filtered through overwhelm and overthinking?
  • Level 7, Ether: Purpose and Presence. Do you feel connected to something larger than your to-do list? Does your work still mean something to you?

Three questions per level, scored on a simple scale. No trick questions, no clinical language. Honest self-assessment.

How the scoring works

Your total Reset Score falls on a 42-point scale across three tiers: Running on Empty (0-14): You’re depleted across multiple dimensions. This isn’t a failure; it’s information. Most people in this range have been overextending for so long that depletion feels normal. Your body and mind are telling you something. The score gives you permission to listen. On Autopilot (15-28): You’re functioning, but you’re coasting. Things are getting done, but the spark is muted. You’re going through motions that used to feel meaningful. This is where most mid-career professionals land, and it’s the range where intentional practice makes the biggest difference. In Full Rhythm (29-42): You’re connected, grounded, and present. Your stress is manageable, your relationships are nourishing, and your work carries meaning. This tier isn’t about perfection; it’s about alignment.

Your score is a location, and it moves

The Reset Score tells you where you are right now, and it changes as your circumstances and practices change. Take it today and you’ll get one picture. Take it in 90 days after building a practice and you’ll see the shift. It’s also not generic. Because the score breaks down across seven distinct dimensions, you get a nuanced map. You might score high on personal power (Level 3) but low on emotional processing (Level 2). That specificity tells you exactly where to focus your practice.

What you do with your score

Your Reset Score is your starting point. The lowest-scoring level is where the framework suggests you begin building your practice. That means choosing music that resonates with that level’s emotional frequency, building a reset playlist, and spending deliberate time with it. The book (Music & Meditation: A Curated Collection of Positive Vibrations) walks you through each level in depth. The workshops give you facilitated, hands-on experience with the framework. And the online course lets you work through all seven levels at your own pace. But it all starts with knowing where you stand. — Twenty-one questions. Seven dimensions. Five minutes.
